When you're poorly or recovering from illness or surgery, your wellbeing is in someone else's hands, and you have to trust that your nurse is looking after you properly and thinking carefully about your treatment.
While nursing care in this country is of a very high standard, sometimes the level of care can slip, and you're the one that suffers as a consequence. Problems can arise from private nursing homes too.
The types of cases we see include nurses failing to notice that their patient's condition was deteriorating, or not monitoring and checking patients often enough (which is particularly important with elderly and vulnerable patients). Where patients haven't been monitored closely enough, poor nursing care can lead to injuries being sustained, for example, from patients falling and hurting themselves. These injuries can have a devastating effect on a person's independence and mobility, particularly where elderly patients are involved.
If you're unhappy with the care you, or someone close to you, has received, put yourself in our more than capable hands.
If you'd like to find out more before you get in touch, take a look at some of the cases we've successfully won for our clients.
