Working with her clients’ best interests at heart, Geraldine combines a sharp legal mind with a friendly and compassionate approach.

Covering the range of personal injury claims Geraldine is particularly associated with high profile civil and military aviation claims – Lockerbie, Chinook Mull of Kintyre, British Midland crash at Kegworth, and was named as one of the top 20 lawyers of the last 20 years by the Lawyer Magazine 2007. She was also added to their Hall of Fame for being one of the most effective Claimants’ Lawyers in product liability and personal injury and has been dubbed one of their “Ten Litigators to make you quake”.

Geraldine is currently working on the Inquest into the death of Nicholas Rice, a 15 year old Air Cadet, which will take place in Oxford Coroner’s Court on 13th February 2012.

Geraldine continues her commitment to pro-bono work by representing the families of service personnel at Inquests. She represented the Widow of Matty Hull who was killed in A10 friendly fire and several Widows at an Inquest into the crash of a US Sea Knight aircraft in Kuwait. Geraldine also acted for the Widow of Sergeant Roberts who was the first Soldier fatality of the Iraq war (lack of enhanced combat body armour). Geraldine is currently instructed in the inquest into the death of Lance Corporal Michael Pritchard (sniper ‘friendly fire’).

Geraldine is a member of the Times Law panel, Secretary of the Royal British Legion Solicitors Group, FOCIS (Forum of Complex Injury Solicitors modelled by Richard Grand on the Inner Circle of Advocates) and the Law Society Personal Injury Panel. She is also a former Mediatior in the Court of Appeal on Personal Injury matters (pro-bono). To add to her list of accolades, she was the President of the Manchester Law Society 2002-2003, Chairman of the National Young Solicitors Group in 1994 and was voted Cheshire Woman of the Year 2003.
