Mealla qualified as a Solicitor in September 2006 and joined MPH Solicitors in February 2009. Mealla completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Liverpool and her postgraduate studies at Leeds Law School.
Mealla specialises in assisting Claimants in Clinical Negligence claims. She has experience in handling a wide variety of such claims, and has successfully pursued actions against General Practitioners, hospitals, nursing homes, dentists, and private healthcare providers.
As well as having her own varies caseload, Mealla assists Frank Patterson with his caseload of more complex clinical negligence claims.
This month Mealla is expecting the Group Litigation Order made in relation to the PIP breast implants scandal to be finalised by the court, so that her clients will then be able to move forward with their own claims.
Mealla works closely with the Communication Workers Union, representing its members in Clinical Negligence cases.
Mealla is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
